Besides the Photowalk (check Daytrips), which will give you inspiration for your own skills, it is also great to visit the Photomuseums in town, like Maison de Photographie. Only vintage pictures here with a glimpse of past times in Marrakesh, to remember the city as it used to be in beautiful photos – and don’t skip lunch on the rooftop. Sometimes there is a photo exhibition in Dar Zeliges. Last but not least a very important new museum for modern photography, the Marrakesh Museum for Photography and Visual Arts, will be opening up, shah Allah, in 2018 – a preview is to be seen in Palais Badi. A must see!!
