hammams in marrakesh
No trip to Morocco can pass without a visit to a hammam, the way the Moroccans do. Hammams are an important part of Moroccan life and culture. Men, women and children will visit their local hammam at least once a week and spend a couple of hours there – catching up on gossip with their friends and following the rituals for cleansing their bodies until their skin glows. A Hammam is a traditional steam room, which is heated underneath by a wood fire. You can choose between a luxurious one, mostly for tourists, like Le Bain Blue, Heritage Spa or Les Bains de Marrakech or a local one around the corner. We can advise you on that of course as well. Prices: 600 MAD with massage, 250 MAD without. Between the locals from 50 MAD.
