It was long ago that I fell in love with Morocco – it’s roughness, it’s contrasts, it’s colours and of course it’s people. Since that first visit my whole life changed and I started the interior decoration company Household Hardware in 1990. A few years later in 1998, I bought this house to start a small hotel, Hotel Chambres d’Amis, which opened in 2000. In our hotel we aim to show you many Moroccan crafts in a not too obvious way – in the architecture, in the interior decoration and in ‘finishing touch’ details – to inspire your senses.
